I always wondered if there was a way to combine turn-based and realtime combat in a rogulike game where you can think as long as you need while also keeping the action game feeling. In this game I combined the time-moves-when-you-move mechanic of Superhot with the large variety of gadgets of Heat Signature. While the early gameplay prototypes were promising, it turned out that this game probably should be a puzzle game with predefined levels than a rogulike.
